Kevin Bown, an Austin native, has cultivated a diverse and dynamic career in real estate. Originally following a mechanical engineering path, Kevin discovered in the late 1990's that working in Austin real estate allowed him the opportunity to further develop his profound connection with the city's growth and evolution.

In 2011, Kevin co-founded Twelve Rivers Realty, establishing a prominent presence in the Austin real estate market. As a long-time co-host of "The Real Estate Zone" radio show on KLBJ 590 AM, Kevin found a way to share his insights and passion for the city with a wider audience.

Beyond real estate, Kevin's background is enriched by his family's legacy in education. His love for solving complex problems and puzzles, coupled with his perspective on intricate systems, makes him a valuable addition to any board. Kevin is excited to bring his unique blend of experience, analytical skills, and dedication to education to his new role as a board member of an independent IB school, where he aims to contribute to the institution's growth and success.

Kevin is a proud parent to son Andrew in Middle School.
