The countries this year were: Greece, Bolivia,Cameroon, Costa Rica, Fiji, and Vietnam. There were live performances by: The Bolivian Dance Saya, Vietnamese Dancers, and Garlic Beets. There was also a world map where you can show people where you are from. For the kids there were: carnival games and prizes for all ages and a concession stand with drinks for sale. The lead volunteers are: Carlos Gutsman, Alexandria Robertson, Laura Spagnolo, Felipe Fernandez, Ana Lau, Davey Vargas, Kim Sidey, Pooja Pundhir, James Walton, and Joanne Walton. ”I liked learning about different places from around the world,” said fourth grader Addy. Students’ favorite countries appeared to be Vietnam, Greece, and Colombia. ”I had a lot of fun,” fifth grader Anjali said. Some favorite foods were: Colombian Donuts, Kebabs, Spring Rolls, and Crackers. So, if you didn't go to International Festival this year, I highly encourage you to go next year!
