Meet the Journalists
The news writers for The Navigant newspaper have been working diligently to bring you information about Magellan International School and the world around us. Here are the journalists for the Navigant:
Logan D. is the sports reporter for The Navigant. He lives in Spicewood Springs, Texas with his mom, dad, sister and cat. He likes to play baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. Eventually, he would like to be an engineer.
Davis M. contributes to a variety of sections of the newspaper. He lives in Austin, Texas with his brother, two dogs, and his parents. He has a youtube channel and self-describes as a very handsome guy. He hopes to be an engineer for Electro Motive Division.
Mary's has work featured in different sections of the newspaper. Mary has lived in Austin, Texas her whole life. She has two sweet cats named Jasper and Jules. She enjoys reading, writing, and drawing. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher and an author.
Adeline H., age 10, lives in Austin, Texas with her parents, two older brothers and her two dogs. She plays the violin and enjoys reading, writing, and horses. Addy also participates in swimming and gymnastics. Her work is featured in the fiction section of the newspaper.
Caroline M., age 10, lives in Austin, Texas with her parents, sister, two cats, a dog and a fish. She plays the piano and the bass guitar. She also participates in soccer, dance, and gymnastics. In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, and making up dances to her favorite songs. Caroline's articles are featured in multiple areas of the newspaper, reflecting her various interests.
Jocelyn Chen is a 7th grade student at Magellan and resides in Austin, Texas. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, golf, photography, and playing Minecraft. Her favorite book is A Game of Noctis by Deva Fagan. Jocelyn's writing will appear in various areas of the newspaper.
