As Magellan's Assistant Athletic Director, Rubis shares her passion for the love of sports with the athletes. She strives to be a great mentor to the students exactly like her coaches were for her. Rubi Reyna grew up in Sinton, TX where she discovered her passion to compete in a variety of sports starting from the early age of four. Inspired by her siblings, family members, and coaches, Rubi honed her skills playing for her high school. In high school, Rubi participated in cross country, volleyball, basketball, and softball.  In college, Rubi played softball on scholarship. After graduating from college with her B.S. in Education, she moved to Austin.  While in Austin, she played professional and semi-professional Women's Tackle Football and was named an All-American before she retired to coach.
