Holly Whichard

Counselor for Grades 5-9

Holly is a seasoned school counselor and Magellan parent. Her son, Wyatt began his journey at Magellan in PP3. Holly's deep appreciation for Magellan, her passion for school counseling, and her commitment to the IB philosophy motivated her to join the Magellan team.

With over 28 years of experience in K-12 education and student support, Holly is passionate about enhancing student development, fostering academic success, advocating for youth, and providing college and career advising. This includes guiding IB Diploma Programme students through the college admissions process, offering essential support and motivation.

Before joining Magellan, Holly served as a Middle School Counselor in Westlake. Outside of work, Holly enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spoiling her family’s dog, Wilbur.
